The EU bureaucrats disagree, a society of privacy is the last thing the want. They want total control of people's lives. It's not enough to stupify people with outrageous taxes, if, god forbid, you have any money left, the EU bureaucrat wants to control how you spend it. Rather than protecting the inherent and inalianalbe right of private property, politicians increasingly view their citizens as their own property.
The European Union is set to impose sweeping Anti-Money Laundering (AML) rules
that will ban privacy-preserving tokens and anonymous cryptocurrency accounts
from 2027.
