Freedom is a condition of living based upon inherent and inalianable rights.
Americans used to be free.
Because Americans had freedom, they created massive opportunities.
That's what made America great.
Important: Free people create opportunities that makes the place they live in great.
I had convinced myself more vividly ... how much room, how much opportunity
there was in this young country [America] for anyone willing to work, and that
impressed me. Also through this experience at agencies and interviews in shops
and offices, I gained an insight into the divine freedom of the country.
-- The World of Yesterday, Stefan Zweig.
Americans lost their freedom in 1913 when the Sixteenth Amendemnt was passed.
Sixteenth Amendment made the income tax possible.
Your income - product of your labor - is your property.
The income tax is compulsory: part of your your property belongs to the state.
Important: the income tax established the prior right of the state to your property.
The government says to the citizen: "Your earnings are not exclusively
your own; we have a claim on them, and our claim precedes yours; we
will allow you to keep some of it, because we recognize your need, not
your right; but whatever we grant you for yourself is for us to decide."
-- The Income Tax: Root of All Evil, Frank Chodorov.
The income tax violates your inherent and inalianable rights.
You become a slave when you have no right of property.
A partial slave still is a slave.
Important: In 1913 free Americans were subjugated not by a foreign power but by
their own state.
People must have freedom to create opportunities.
Because Americans lost their freedom, they created fewer and fewer opportunities.
It's the loss of freedom that caused America lose it's status of greatness.
Conclusion:
Only free Americans can make America great again.
Freedom is not passed from the top. It's not a gift from the ruler.
Only Americans can make Americans free again.
The first and the most importatnt step then is to undo the thing that enslaved
them.
This means to repeal the Sixteenth Amendment, to eliminate the income tax.
Question: Why some believe the income tax is necessary?
Answer: Because some find the condition of being a slave natural.
It is incredible how the people, once subjugated, forget their freedom so
rapidly and so completely that they are quite unable to wake up and win it
back. They are such willing slaves that you would say they had gained their
servitude rather than lost their freedom. ...
Men born beneath the yoke and educated in slavery will look no further; they
are content to live in the condition in which they were born, ... and assume
that this condition is the one which nature ordains.
-- Slaves by Choice, by Etienne De La Boetie (1553)
Fortunately, there are still Americans who find the condition of
slavery intolerable and unnatural. They are The Remnant. As long as they exist, there is hope.
Once the Sixteenth Amendment is repealed, many other positive changes will
take place as a consequence.
When Americans become free again, they will make America great again.
