our rulers load us with perpetual debt."
HAMILTON: "No society could succeed which did not unite the interest and
credit of rich individuals with those of the state." "A national debt, if it is
not excessive, will be to us a national blessing."
Because the lure of public plunder is irresistable, Hamilton's idea eventually won. The Federal Reserve was created in 1913 and, as Jefferson had predicted, people have been losing their liberties and loaded with debt ever since. The only feasible way to defeat this monster, in my view, is for people to adopt private cryptocurrency (e.g Monero).
