If you believe that the state has the power to grant rights, then you must also accept that the state has the power to take them away. If you accept that, you accept that you are not a free man, you are a slave. That's exactly what the collectivists at the UN want you to believe: "rights provided by the State" and then they add: "to such limitations as are deteremined by law." The idea of unalienable rights is foreign to collectivists.
